About This Role
We are looking for a passionate Brand Account Manager who will partner with Brands and Agencies and ensure their long-term success. The role is to support the Brand Account Executives while managing a portfolio of assigned customers and actively seek new opportunities from existing clients.
Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with Brands, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders, managing campaign set up, and preparing campaign reports.
Account managers will collaborate with Brand Account Executives, clients, and ad agencies to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. The ideal candidate is able to identify customer needs and exceed client expectations. Ultimately, a successful Account Manager should will be responsible helping to retain and ultimately assist in the growth of our business.
What You'll Do
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key advertising partners
  • Develop a collaborative relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to both customer needs and objectives and Houzz’ standards
  • Communicate clearly the progress of weekly/monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Assist with urgent requests and help to resolve high priority escalations as needed
  • At Minimum, We'd Like You to Have
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager or other relevant experience in digital advertising (Brands or Agencies)
  • Knowledge and experience working on the Houzz ad platform
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable with large volumes of data, calculations, identifying trends and summarizing of data
  • Solid experience with SalesForce, CRM software, BOX, EGNYTE and MS Office (particularly Excel)
  • Ideally. You'll Also Have
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communications skills
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or other relevant field preferred
