Our People Services Business Partners Make Things Happen
We connect business needs with employee needs!  The People Services Business Partner (PSBP) is a key strategic member of the People Services Team.  The role will understand, partner and deliver people initiatives that engage and develop the Houzz Sales Organization. With your mastery of relationship building, people analytics, and broad HR practices, you'll be positioned as an organizational leader that helps transform and drive Houzz toward continued levels of success.
What You’ll Do
Analyze
*Conduct gap analysis and needs assessments in order to understand people needs and organizational opportunities.
*Build relationship value across all leadership teams by asking questions, modeling plans and sharing solutions.
*Partner with People Service Ops & Talent/Talent Acquisition/Sales Leadership/Finance to action on organizational trends
Development and Delivery
*Build and execute HR strategy for the Houzz Sales organization
*Execute design thinking to bridge organizational and people related strategies
*Proactively share insights to guide decision making and offer solutions in workforce planning
*Provide expertise and coach managers on appropriate people management best practices, i.e. org design, performance management, employee relations, reward & recognition, and transition strategies
*Maintain employee engagement and culture
*Be the glue that binds all relevant information from across the globe to help manage change and translate best practice
*Ensure business needs are being met through progressive evaluation of active plans, programs, and initiatives.
 
Communicate
*Communicate and drive the consistent implementation of the company's people practices and provide coaching and consultation to sales management and sales executives.
*Coach leadership on people strategies including hiring, performance management, compensation, recognition, and career development.
*Work closely with leadership and employees to improve team/leadership effectiveness, build morale, and increase engagement and retention.
At a Minimum, We’d Like You To... 
*Have 8 years experience as an HR practitioner and at least 3 of those years as an HRBP equivalent for a sales organization 
*Have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, Business or related field
*Critical Competencies: Business Minded, Forward looking, Resourceful, Team Player, Drives Development, Celebrates Diversity, Effective Communicator, Influencer, Agile Learner, Adaptable, and Gritty.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have…
*Experience in staffing, workforce planning, performance management and business operations
*Expert in CA labor law (multi-state and international is a huge bonus)
*Successful change management experience
*Executive/Leadership Coaching
*Workday experience or equivalent system experience
*Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
*Human Resources certification (for example,Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR))
