Houzz, the revolutionary platform for residential remodeling and design is looking for a talented b2b writer and marketer who will be responsible for developing engaging educational content for our professional community of brands, designers, builders & remodelers.

The position will also be responsible for developing sales support materials including case studies and presentations among other collateral. Are you a great storyteller who can draw people in and move them to action by showing instead of telling? We want to hear from you! Success will be measured by the ability of the content developed to drive key business metrics.

This position is full-time and based in Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities:

Identify content needs and develop content including webinars, whitepapers, and articles that will educate and engage our professional community with the goal of helping these small businesses be more successful on and off of Houzz

Create compelling case studies and educational content for national and regional brand clients

Build compelling sales collateral that effectively communicates Houzz’s value proposition

Develop, execute and measure effective distribution of this content to our internal teams, existing community and beyond

Work cross-functionally other teams to ensure we’re delivering world-class content in support of business goals

About you:

Degree in marketing, journalism, communications or related field

A minimum of 4 years work experience in marketing writing

Both a passion for creating great content and superior writing skills - please include links to writing samples

Ability to write with appropriate voice depending on medium and audience

Strong results and work ethic, a proven star performer over the course of your career

Collaborative - you love to work with other teams and people and are a strong and proactive communicator

Hands-on: we look for people who love to do!

Strong interest / passion for home improvement and design a plus
