About the Role
Our company is looking for a Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Manager that will be responsible for the corporate consolidation planning process, and for delivering analyses that impact high-profile strategic and operational decisions. Strong candidates should demonstrate the capacity to serve as a highly effective finance partner to Houzz business leaders in order to meaningfully improve strategic, financial and operational decision-making across the company. We are looking for top performers that have distinguished technical and analytical backgrounds, are excellent collaborators and have the drive and judgment to work effectively and independently.
What You'll Do
  • Serve as a trusted partner to Houzz business leaders and a source for sound advice to drive better financial decisions
  • Proactively drive forward ad hoc strategic and operational projects as required
  • Maintain and enhance Houzz’s corporate model; prepare financial reporting deliverables, analyze business trends and drivers and explain forecast versus actual variances
  • Identify and drive initiatives that continuously improve, automate and scale forecasting and reporting tools and processes
  • Work closely with the accounting and systems teams to ensure timely and accurate financial closes and reporting
  • Work with business team leaders to track and manage expenses against budget
  • Manage and inspire Senior Financial Analysts in the Corporate FP&A team
  • At a Minimum, We'd Like You to Have
  • An undergraduate degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent
  • 6+ years of investment banking, private equity, consulting, FP&A and/or accounting experience
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
  • Advanced financial modeling skills
  • Project management skills
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic and a team-oriented mindset
  • Ideally, You'll Also Have
  • A passion for and understanding of SaaS and/or eCommerce companies
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • An ability to work independently within a decentralized team
  • Experience with financial planning, reporting tools and Tableau
