Our Customer Support Team Makes Things Happen
As a Customer Support Specialist, you are responsible for making sure Houzz customers have a great experience shopping on Houzz! The ideal candidate for this position is an excellent problem solver and communicator who loves helping others. This person remains calm under pressure and can convert challenging situations into positive experiences.
Average hours are from 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM. However, scheduled shifts are based on business need. Additional opportunities from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM may arise. 
Houzz provides phone support on weekends and holidays. Employees may work an occasional weekend day or holiday shift, as needed.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
  • Efficiently resolve Customer Service inquiries regarding orders placed on Houzz
  • Answer inbound phone calls
  • Handle inbound written support inquiries
  • Provide exceptional Customer Service for Houzz Marketplace customers.
  • Meet answer rate, average handle time, customer satisfaction, and additional objectives as provided.
  • Work with sellers and vendors to ensure all inquiries are resolved in accordance with Houzz policies.
  • Perform various tasks in support of company initiatives and goals.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment, and embody the Houzz culture.
  • Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with customers is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Excellent multi-tasker
  • Exceptional problem solving abilities - Ability to think on your feet!
