Houzz is looking for an execution-oriented, analytical leader who can drive insights around key product and operational initiatives across our rapidly-growing Marketplace business. In a few short years, Houzz has grown into a top ecommerce destination, but we’re just getting started. At our core, we are a data-driven company that relies heavily on our analytics organization to make strategic decisions.
You will be the champion of our data platform and will be tasked with scaling our existing analytics function to help us grow the business. The best analytics leaders understand that their “product” is the tools, accuracy, and accessibility of data so that all individuals can operate in a self-sufficient and trusted way to make the decisions needed to keep us moving aggressively towards our goals.
Additionally, you will lead a cross-functional team comprised of quantitative and business analysts, which means you’ll need to blend a strong technical background with business acumen and possess the managerial skill to lead both groups. You will be responsible for building and developing the entire team and aiding them to partner closely with the product and business teams they serve.
The ideal candidate has already led large analytics teams and has been responsible for driving the overall analytics agenda in prior roles. Your success will be defined by building a team that is excellent at identifying the key insights that enable growth.
