About the Role

Houzz is looking for a talented new graduate to join our close-knit design team as a graphic design intern. We thrive on creating clean and engaging designs that delight across multiple platforms. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, learns quickly and is very eager to learn new skills.

What You'll Do

Produce a variety of premium sales banners for both our US and UK marketplace

Help our design team with other print, tradeshow, and digital projects, while designing within our brand guidelines

Assist in photography selection for new product launches

Photoshop and retouch photos for projects

Juggle multiple projects while maintaining timelines and expectations

Synthesize feedback from multiple sources and iterate a good solution

At a Minimum, We'd Like You to Have

A degree in Graphic Design or a related field as a recent graduate

Strong portfolio showcasing a good sense of typography, hierarchy, layout, color and conceptual thinking

Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)

Good communication skills; you are not afraid to speak up and ask questions
