Houzz is looking for a motivated, hard-working, analytical, and organised Operations and Logistics intern to join our e-commerce team in Berlin. This individual should be prepared to work in a fast-paced and international team environment, and should also be enthusiastic about gaining knowledge in various aspects of e-commerce, with the opportunity to grow within a business that is reshaping the home design and renovation industry around the world.
We’re looking for a new or recent graduate (or a career changer!) who loves to connect and help others, has excellent verbal and written communication skills, is a self-starter that will roll up their sleeves no matter what the task, and is super web-savvy.

Responsibilities:
  • Spare part orders management
  • Communication with other Houzz departments such as buying, logistics partner, and customer service.
  • Answering product questions on Houzz website
  • Answering US Customer Service requests including (but not limited to) order status, spare part enquiries, replacement orders, product questions
  • International orders management: shipment labelling and support the US warehouse team
  • Help Logistics team to support customers and suppliers needs and assisting the team with day-to-day tasks as needed
  • Management of claims with third party carriers
  • Requirements:
  • Graduate from a top university, and/or an individual with drive to succeed
  • Excellent communication skills with absolute fluency in business English
  • Switched on, eager to learn, and curious - you love a good challenge!
  • Tech-savvy
  • Excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. You will be using Excel every day, so you must like it!
  • Passion for numbers and analytical measurements (this is key)
  • Accurate and thorough; doesn’t miss any details and is always reliable with their tasks
  • Ability to persevere in high-pressure situations and find effective solutions
  • Previous experience in logistics/operations/customer service or e-commerce is a big plus
  • Enthusiasm or passion for design furniture and architecture is also a plus
