About the Role
We are seeking a product manager to guide a dedicated team of engineers, analysts and designers working to make Houzz synonymous with the home. With over 40 million monthly unique visitors, Houzz is already the platform for home remodeling and design, but we’re just getting started. You will work across both our web site and 5-star rated apps to identify opportunities for growth, developing and rapidly iterating on features to drive user acquisition and engagement.
What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with engineering, design and analytics to drive the roadmap for our consumer growth strategy, both on web and mobile
  • Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to manage timelines and frequent product iterations
  • Own the lifecycle communications strategy to activate, retain and reactivate users
  • Use data-driven analysis to identify key improvements and experiments to optimize funnels (sign up, app download, save to ideabook etc.) across the site
  • Leverage user research to understand the needs of consumers
  • Clearly articulate product strategy with a wide range of internal teams
  • Help scale all of the above to our international markets
  • At a Minimum, We'd Like You to Have
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in product management at a consumer internet company with a proven track record of successful, consumer-facing product launches that touch millions of users
  • Excellent product sense and thoughtfulness about the dynamics of a product ecosystem. You regularly keep up with new products to learn how they grow and work
  • A natural ability to make things happen around you. You manage project ambiguity, complexity and interdependencies in an organized and structured way. You are eager to be the glue between other functions, doing what it takes to make our product successful
  • Strong analytical skills; you are able to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
  • An extremely detail-oriented mindset; you believe that a great product is the sum of an inordinate number of small, thoughtful decisions
  • Excellent communication skills and intuition for communication strategy at every level -- within teams, within the company, to users, to press and other audiences
  • Experience leading post-launch optimizations; developing A/B testing strategies and prioritizing incremental feature enhancements
