Ecommerce Analyst

Job purpose :
We’re looking for an outstanding Ecommerce Analyst to join our Kipling team in Antwerp, Belgium.

Kipling is part of VF, the global company behind some of the world’s leading lifestyle brands. If you are an active lifestyler then you are probably very familiar with brands such as Vans, The North Face, Timberland, Napapjiri, Eastpak, Kipling and others. These are just some of the names we at VF produce and sell in over 1500 stores across 170 countries.

Let’s talk about the role!

  • You ensure that the Kipling.com website and platform are ready and able to support the online retail business and brand activity, which are defined by a structured retail calendar set out by the Brand and Ecommerce team.
  • You will be responsible for all technical aspects of the website working alongside the platform suppliers, our Ecommerce Central Team, the brand marketing and merchandising teams, as well as the Ecommerce team to ensure that our consumers have a seamless path to purchase and brand engagement. 
  • You will be involved with new project development and integration both in the online and offline space for the brand and work with the Ecommerce Manager to define brand project strategy, understand the quick wins, as well as the longer term goals and needs of the brand.

  • A few of your accountabilities:

  • Analysis of the user journey, benchmarking competitors, providing insights on UX improvement to optimise the consumer’s path to purchase.
  • Manage 3rd party implementations of technical changes to the website and manage the budget for all maintenance costs.
  • Ensure all URLs are active, reduce the amount of 404 and error messages, responsible for website tagging, manage the technical aspects of the CMS, CRM system for all Brand Marketing messages on the website. 
  • Deliver all Ecommerce Projects on time, within Specification and within budget. 
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience within the technical area (3-5y). preferable Minimum 1 year experience in an Ecommerce or Digital Marketing Environment. 
  • Good Knowledge of Magento Platform is required. 
  • Good knowledge of SEO: Meta-Tagging and Tag implementation, best practices 
  • Good knowledge of Tagging: GTM 
  • Strong Expertise in HTML and CSS 
  • Good knowledge of Excel and the MS Office suite and Knowledge of Photoshop is an asset. 
  • Familiar with new and upcoming developments within Ecommerce and a strong understanding of SEO principals and best practices, SEM, Social Media and Digital Marketing 
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize workload and deliver to deadlines. 
  • Eye for detail to ensure the highest levels of accuracy. 
  • A team player with strong communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, any other language is a plus.
