A day in this job
- We start everyday with our team stand up to catch up and be informed. In this team you will take ownership of the development pipeline together with our most senior developers in Kreditech.
- Your focus will be to develop an engine that allows us to move data from one system to another. Sounds simple because we believe that less is more. Simplicity is also part of our team values.
- You will also ensure that the quality and reliability of our software is scalable and can be used across multiple countries and products (adaptability).
- The implementation of improvements, smart reporting and tools that allow non techies to obtain valuable output for decision making is also part of your tasks.

You will be working with a 7-member culturally diverse team responsible for many important projects with visible impact on the company and customers alike. Thus, quality is key in our team. Desired skills and experience
- 2-5 years of experience with Scala, Java or other JVM-based languages;
- Expertise with SQL, RDBMS design and optimization;
- Hands-on experience working with functional programming languages;
- Experience working in Agile development environments, preferably following Scrum methodology;
- Working knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases;
- Strong knowledge of HTTP and (REST) API design;
- Experience in JavaScript full stack development (e.g. AngularJS and Node.js) is a plus.
