Junior Loan Book Analyst (m/f) | Hamburg

Description

• Work as junior member of the Loan Book Accounting and Reporting department being part of the Finance team with a wide range of topics including financial assets accounting, controlling and reporting;
• Assist in development and testing of new set of loan book accounting reports created for the new architecture based on new loan management system (Mambu);
• Support the process of  integration of new reporting structure into existing loan book reporting system;
• Performing daily/monthly validation testing of accounting information in order to improve the quality of reports produced;
• Participate in monthly and yearly books closure with preparation of consolidated financial statements;
• Assist with preparation of the information upon the requests from BIG4 auditors, consultants and due diligence teams;
• Other ad-hoc tasks on loan book portfolio reconciliation and reports preparation.

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics of Business from a top-tier university
• Previous work/internship experience in a related field
• Basic understanding of accounting and controlling procedures and processes
• Highly numerate and proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Ability and desire to work in a high-intensity deal environment
• Fluency in English required, other european languages is a plus
