Your Role
- You will join the team building the future foundation for sustainable growth at Kreditech;
- You will work in a team of experienced professionals writing well designed, testable, efficient code;
- You will work closely with other departments, such as Product, Marketing and Data Science to implement new software components supporting our products;
- You will work closely with Frontend development teams and and Site Reliability Engineering;
- You will solve problems with innovative and customer-oriented solutions.
Your Strengths
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience;
- Excellent Java programming skills and long time experience working as a developer in the Java ecosystem;
- Excellent knowledge of Web Application design and implementation;
- Knowledge and practical experience in both SQL and NoSQL databases;
- Experience in designing and implementing clean and maintainable (REST) APIs;
- Practical experience integrating APIs of commercial off-the-shelf (preferably core banking) solutions;
- Good knowledge in other languages, especially Scala, Go or JavaScript is a plus;
- Experience with Linux environment; Practical experience working with Docker is a plus;
- Desire to work in a collaborative programming environment;
- Experience with working in Agile development environments, preferably following Scrum methodology;
- Fluent in verbal and written English.
