Desired Skills and Experience

Essential

• You have a strong passion for engineering and problem solving. You like to read articles about new languages, frameworks, and technologies. You like to try them out.
• Learning a new language is simply a matter of learning syntax to you, as you understand algorithms and how programming works in the general sense.
• You understand how things work behind the scenes, and when you don't, you're curious enough to research about it (or use your debugger).
• You are senior and very comfortable with Node.js, Golang or Java. Pick one, but be prepared to step outside your comfort zone.
• Comfortable with relational database systems and good command of SQL.
• You have good communication skills and know how to interact with techs and non-techs alike.
• Fluency in English, our working language.

Preferred

• You have some knowledge of client-side programming, UI frameworks (react, angular), and state management (flux, redux).
• You have some experience with non relational database systems.
• You are familiar with the concept of shipping apps as containers (docker).
• You've worked in Agile environments before and are familiar with the methodology.
