We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer to design, develop and install software solutions. The successful candidate will be able to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design.

Your Role

• You will be involved in the Underwriting Team at the core of the business, where we collect and process customer data;
• Execute a full life-cycle software development;
• Document and maintain software functionality;
• Tailor and deploy software tools, processes and metrics;
• Building well designed, testable and efficient software;
• Work alongside Engineers, Product Managers, Data Engineer and Data Scientists in a highly collaborative environment, where you will get the chance to become involved in the data-driven culture and manage its quality.

Your Strengths

• Hands on experience in designing interactive applications;
• Ability to develop software in Java/Scala languages;
• Excellent knowledge of Databases - PostgreSQL, MongoDB;
• Ability to develop and to use different RESTful API's;
• Experience with test-driven development;
• Ability to document requirements and specifications;
• Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes;
• BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering;
