Description

The Collection Team is accountable for the amicable process of recovering late payments from our clients. As a Team-Leader of Collection Department  you will be responsible for managing a team of 12 people dealing with early and late debt collection. You will have the chance to use your experience in optimizing the recovery processes of our company, while maintaining the highest standards of customer service in the fintech environment.


A day in this job


  • Leading a group of debt collection officers (10-12 agents)
  • Organisation of the effective workflows of the collection department
  • Analysis and segmentation of the portfolio, carry out data analysis to facilitate continuous improvement of collection strategy
  • Development of proposals aimed at improving the efficiency of the department: processes, personnel decisions, organisational issues
  • Participation in the projects implementation to optimise processes at collection
  • Control of compliance of qualifications of current employees to current strategy needs; motivation of employees; quality control of work according to collection procedures
  • Preparation and formation of reports, presentations on the department’s activities results
  • Influence IT development of internal collection software and tools
  • Monitoring the implementation of the department's KPI
  • Planning work schedules and monitoring compliance with labor discipline

 Desired skills & experience


  • Higher education;
  • Experience in debt collection for over three years;
  • Experience in a similar position for over two years;
  • English is Upper-intermediate and higher level;
  • Experience and understanding of work processes with of all stages of debt collection;
  • Excel - advanced level (analysis of large data arrays);
  • Experience in making presentations (advanced presentation skills);
  • Business negotiation skills;
  • Effective people management skills;
  • Experience in project work;
  • Business case drafting (as an advantage);
  • Knowledge of SQL would be an advantage;
  • Teamwork skills.
