The Marzotto Group is looking for 10 young Fashion Textile designers from all over Europe. Following an internship and a hands-on training programme to acquire specific competences, the selected designers will be integrated in the style department of the companies of the Group and collaborate with the Product Managers in order to implement the creativity and quality level of our offer.

Position

PROJECT The aim of the project is to find young talents who are determinated to become the textile professionals of tomorrow. The project includes a first 6 month internship ( with a 1000 € monthly expense allowance plus lunches at the company canteen) in one of the various companies of the Group: Marzotto Lab, Marzotto Wool and Ratti. After a first short stage of training, with the visit of the different departments, the interns will be integrated in the creative area where they will working for a specific project. Activity will include archive research (company artistic patrimony) and the elaboration of a collection (moodboard, colors palette, rendering, etc…) There will be visits, meetings and in-depht thematic talks at Fondazione Antonio Ratti and with Fashion Textile experts invited to share their experience in the sector. At the end of the internship, the best designers will be offered a position as apprentice, with an occupation in the style departments of the Group

Requirements

CONDITIONS Applicants must be between 19 and 28 years old, from schools/universities of all over Europe. An internal commission will evaluate the applications and will select the most interesting portfolios. The selected applicants will be contacted to fix a selection interview. The selection will evaluate the applicant’s qualification (degree or diploma, previous internships or apprenticeships in the textile sector and passion for textile design) and his/her level of creativity and knowledge that should appear in the projects presented in the portfolio.

The project will start on 4th September, 2017 and applications can be done no later than 10th June 2017 and they MUST include a CV and a portfolio with at least two projects/collections. Applications without portfolio will not be considered.
