Key Responsibilities:• Desk based research involving contacting corporate and advisory companies, primarily via email, to find out who worked in an advisory capacity on a specific transaction identified by the researcher/team member• Compiling detailed, accurate and presentable documentation of this information• Establishing new contacts within the advisory community to encourage cooperation with Mergermarket’s research department• Database managementKey Requirements:• Student or Degree holder in Law, International Relations, Political Sciences or related• Proficient knowledge of written English (Level C1) and French-good working knowledge• Proven interest in financial and M&A markets• Attention to detail• Persistence• Good communication and organisational skills• Able to work towards deadlines• Knowledge of research methodologies
