 Inframation Group, an Acuris company, has a fantastic opportunity for a scoop-driven and experienced journalist to lead and be the face of its InfraLatinAmerica, the fast-paced intelligence service for the capital markets most high-profile and politically charged sector. 

Dedicated to uncovering exclusive intelligence on sensitive project procurements and M&A deals in the burgeoning Latin American market, InfraLatinAmerica is the region’s premier infrastructure finance publication delivering our market investor readers actionable intelligence on the latest PPP, concession and infrastructure privatization opportunities. 

The position will involve leading a small team of reporters and freelance reporters in NYC and Brazil, including building a thrice-weekly bulletin service into a daily must-read market briefing packed with exclusives. In addition to advising the team on how to get great stories on the market and sharpening their copy you will build a network of contacts and have the ear of the Latin American infrastructure investment market’s most senior infrastructure professionals while representing the title in trips to key markets like Mexico, Colombia and Brazil. 

Qualifications:

• Roughly three-to-five years of financial journalism experience 
• Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese
• Experience in writing about project finance preferable 
• Managerial experience of journalists, preferable  

Job Expectations: 

• Ability to write three-to-five proprietary stories a week 
• Writing analysis pieces  
• Leading new research initiatives on the Inframation editorial team
• Leading annual investors forum  

This is a full-time role requiring a commitment to working a full working week from our office and to proactively networking whether independently or at events outside of traditional office hours. The role also requires regular travel to the relevant markets.
