Acuris Studios, the events and publishing division of Acuris is seeking an experienced Publishing Sales Executive to join the growing and highly successful EMEA commercial team.

Based at the London Headquarters in the City and reporting to the Head of Sales, Acuris Studios EMEA, the successful candidate will be responsible for winning thought leadership and paid content projects with advisory clients in the financial sector, both existing and brand new. Projects are completely bespoke and tailored to a client’s requirements.  The right candidate will be able to encourage out-of-the-box thinking and see the process through to closing the deal.

Each publishing project is managed in-house and can include a menu of options including editorial in a variety of styles, analysis, graphs and infographics. The experienced team can support survey-based thought leadership, to research pieces, data-driven online tools, content hubs, web and podcasts.

Projects cover a broad range of topics on mergers & acquisitions, private equity, fixed income and infrastructure. Knowledge of/ experience in these areas is a significant advantage.

The role requires advanced skills in new business sales combined with an impeccable track record in account management as a typical publishing project with one client runs for 6+ months.

The right candidate should be able to work independently to win new business deals although will be supported through-out the sales process by an experienced editorial and production team ready to attend meetings and join client calls.

The role may require some travel outside of the United Kingdom. 

Key Skills and Knowledge:

  • Previous experience selling in a B2B role.

  • Excellent proposal writing skills in word and PowerPoint
  • Strong sales acumen including ability to present, negotiate and upsell
  • Tenacity and focus on seeing a deal through to successful delivery
  • Good client management and interpersonal skills
