Debtwire (an Acuris company), the leading financial newswire for the fixed income markets, is looking for a Senior Credit Analyst to expand its high yield and leverage loan research coverage for Western Europe.

Job description:

As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for producing detailed credit research reports on topical names in the high yield and leverage loan universe, including stressed and distressed issuers. Liaise with clients or/and work closely with Debtwire journalists and Acuris Relationship Managers to write high quality topical reports.

Responsibilities:

• Writing credit research reports on companies within our high yield and leveraged loan universe
• Identifying different events may have potential impacts on the credit
• Conduct fundamental credit analysis to assess the creditworthiness of issuers in a sector
• Assume analytical responsibility over a portfolio of issuers in various sectors such as industrials, retail, autos, and financials

Skills & Requirements:

• Formal credit training
• Experienced in the credit industry
• Understanding of the concepts behind P&L, Balance Sheet and Free Cash Flow analysis
• Undergraduate degree in the field of mathematics, sciences, finance, economics or accounting is a plus.
• Strong written communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, Word & Power Point

Language skills: French, German, Spanish
