Meritocracy is looking for a driven and creative Digital Marketing Manager to join in a growing marketing team. 

Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will play a key role in marketing strategy. Your main objectives are to help to generate leads, and increase traffic to the website while also increasing brand loyalty and awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute PPC campaigns (SEM, social media, and display advertising);
  • Maintain and monitor keyword bids, account daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score, and other important account metrics;
  • Manage the creation of large keyword lists;
  • Provide creative copy suggestions and graphical ad templates;
  • Manage Display network placement lists on AdWords and through other contextual advertising platforms;
  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search in accordance with goals;
  • Provide oversight and manage new paid search campaigns, ad groups, and accounts and aid in the creation of paid search marketing initiatives;
  • Keep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments;
  • Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels;
  • Design, build and maintain the social media presence;
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs);
  • Collaborating with the Marketing Director to inform the vision, strategy, systems, and processes to continuously improve the marketing operation;
  • Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights;
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies;
  • Plan, execute and measure experiments and conversion tests;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize the user experience;
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints;
  • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels.

Your Skills & Experiences:

  • 5-7 years of proven working experience in digital marketing;
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns;
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate;
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels;
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments;
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends);
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns;
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking;
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement;
  • International experience (Highly preferred);
  • Italian native & Good English (B2).
