Tasks
- Managing the life science deal flow, identifying and sourcing investment opportunities
- Evaluating business ideas, including the assessment of the medical value of products or services, market competition analysis, financials and team
- Working closely with and supporting the General Partners on elements of the due diligence process and in tasks arising from portfolio management
- Developing a network of private and institutional investors, incubators, research organizations, consultants and industry experts to source and pro-actively identify potential investments
- Medical degree (grade 1 or 2), ideally medical doctorate qualification (Dr. med.)
- Strong scientific understanding and very good numeric skills
- Passionate about innovation in life sciences and the improvement of medical practice
- Strong interest in investments, capital markets, business models and finance
- Familiarity with standard office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ambitious, hard-working and diligent personality, willing to take responsibility
- Strong networker, outgoing person, great sense of team work
- Willingness to learn fast, high level of self-motivation
- Multilingual, ability to conduct business in German and English is a pre-requisite
