Whilst we are a digital wealth manager, an integral part of our business is our "hybrid" approach of combining our digital service with a human touch, via our dedicated client relationship team.
To ensure our customers get the best possible experience, the client relationship team is there to provide a helping hand and reassurance across three key areas:
Digital wealth management - making sure our customers understand the concept and its position in the investment management landscape.
The product  - guiding customers and prospective customers through our investment advice journey and explaining why we are different from peers.
Investments - explaining how our asset allocation and investment team look after our customers' money to help them achieve their investment goals, and providing updates on our investment views over time.
Responsibilities:
  • Proactively managing customer relationships.
  • Always putting the customer first and providing the highest level of customer engagement, via phone, emails and chat.
  • Ensuring that customers have a smooth experience when joining the platform and have access to any information they require.
  • Helping customers fully understand why vaamo is different and how we help clients achieve their goals.
  • Take ownership vis-a-vis the customer for any requests or issues brought forward by the customer, follow-up on resolution with other teams including operations, IT or compliance and provide updates and present final solution to the customer.
  • Be a spokesperson for the customer by feeding back any comments or concerns to the relevant teams.
  • Explain our views on market developments and provide updates to individual customers.
  • Document all customer contact in our database.
  • Work with Commercial Director to improve and develop processes to benefit the customer experience.
  • Contact potential customers who have signed up in response to marketing.
  • Requirements:
  • A keen interest in financial advice, wealth management, and fintech.
  • Passionate about customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Good understanding of stock markets and financial instruments with focus on mutual funds, ETFs, equities, bonds, real estate and commodities.
  • At least 3 years proven commercial experience in a relevant financial services environment (e.g. investment advice, asset management, fund services, portfolio management).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in German and comfortable dealing with customers on the phone.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to grasp new technologies/systems quickly and explain these to others.
  • Degree in Business, Economics or Finance or internship in financial services, e.g. Bankkaufmann/-frau.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, and effective problem solving.
  • Willing to participate in regular training sessions and study for relevant exams to meet regulatory requirements.
