At MoneyFarm we use technology to make investing and saving accessible to everyone in a simple and transparent way.As a web developer at MoneyFarm you will work on a pure-javascript web stack. You will work as part of a technology team which works to ensure that our architecture is highly testable and that every step of our process is repeatable and automated.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop code for new features and products
Write automated tests
Take an active role in evolving our web architecture
Work as part of a scrum team, helping the team to analyse and plan
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
2+ years of relevant experience
Experience with Javascript and modern web frameworks - Angular, React etc.
HTML, CSS
Node.js development
Javascript testing frameworks - jasmine, mocha etc.
Exposure to grunt
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master degree or PhD
Financial services experience (front- or back-office)
Node.js MVC frameworks - sails.js, express etc.
Typescript
NoSQL - MongoDB, Redis etc.
Scrum, user stories and iterative development
