As Senior Financial Planner, you will revise the overall financial position and aspirations of a client and advise as to how to best structure a wealth plan leveraging MFM digital capabilities and financial offerings.
The role requires a combination of entrepreneurial, sales and finance capabilities as it would entail supporting the definition of the target operating model of MFM financial advisory offering  together with being able to build its client base
Responsibilities
  • Contacting clients and setting up meetings in order to conduct in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provision and future aims
  • Analysing information and preparing plans best suited to individual clients' requirements
  • Completing risk analysis and designing financial strategies
  • Keeping abreast of the marketplace and providing clients with information on our new and existing products and services
  • Reviewing and responding to clients changing needs and financial circumstances
  • Promoting and selling our financial products to meet targets
  • Keeping up to date with financial products and legislation
  • Producing financial reports
  • Contacting clients with news of new financial products or changes to legislation that may affect their savings and investments
  • Meeting the regulatory aspects of the role, e.g. requirements for disclosure, costs of the services provided and also the advised products
  • Requirements
  • Strong ability and experience of explaining complex financial market and product information simply and clearly
  • Strong financial products, market and technical knowledge with specific spike in wealth planning and financial planning
  • Have a proven track record of acquiring and retaining clients - with focus on mass affluent segment
  • Preferably a financial planning certification (e.g. CFP certification)
  • Past experience as IFA considered valuable
  • Have a passion for building long term relationships with clients, by delivering a high quality ongoing advice service
  • Passion for tech and for how digital could support the provision of a tailored financial planning wealth planning advice
  • Strong and demonstrable research, analytical, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Hands-on approach, entrepreneurial - willing to support the definition of new offerings
