N26 is Europe’s first Mobile Bank with a full European banking license. We have 2 million customers across 24 markets. Our team of over 500 employees in 3 locations is concentrated on reinventing the banking experience for the digital generation. Valentin Stalf and Maximilian Tayenthal founded N26 in 2013 and launched the initial product in early 2015. Since January 2015, N26 has been available for Android, iOS, and desktop. N26 has raised more than $215 million from investors including Tencent, Allianz X, Peter Thiel’s Valar Ventures, Li Ka-Shing’s Horizons Ventures, Earlybird Ventures, Battery Ventures, in addition to members of the Zalando management board, and Redalpine Ventures.
Once Here You Will
- Work closely with product and design teams to identify research topics
- Propose the best approaches and methods for answering the research questions
- Conduct and analyse the necessary research.
- Generate insights that both fuel ideation and evaluate solutions
- Communicate the insights to the different stakeholders in a manner that helps them make user-centered decisions
- Collaborate closely with the product, design, engineering and business analysis teams
- 5+ years of experience conducting research in a product or design environment
- Experience with a wide range of methods including qualitative, as well as quantitative i.e. in-depth in-context interviews, remote interviews, prototype testing, usability testing, surveys, market analysis
- Ability to work autonomously, directing the research roadmap
- Expertise in communicating research and making a case to a range of stakeholders, beyond research and design teams
- You are based in New York and able to spend time on site with the team
- You are willing to travel in case of a need for in-context research
