As the Director of Product Design you will work with Design and Product teams to strategically develop engaging customer experiences. We are super excited to bring you on board because you will be heading our world-class Experience Design team and will work hand-in-hand with the Product Owner and the feature teams to take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into useful and enjoyable experiences for our customers.

• Manage and develop a team of talented Experience designers and take full responsibility for the team in all phases of their work
• Set clear goals, manage project loads and allocate designers accordingly
• Ensure deadlines are met and team members are setup for overall success
• Collaborate closely with other design team leads and report directly to the Head of Design
• Collaborate cross-functionally with c-level management, product management, engineering, user research and designers to ensure a smooth product development process
• Mentor and inspire Experience designers, give and solicit feedback in order to continually raise our bar for quality
• Continuously improve the process to enable your team
• Attract, mentor and retain the best product design talents in the world
• Roll up your sleeves and contribute as a designer help is when needed
• Execute in a fast-paced and highly fluid environment
• You’ll be present in and outside our offices to be an ambassador and storyteller of great product design

• Minimum 5 years of design experience
• Minimum 3 years industry experience in a management or leadership role on a Design team
• Strong expertise in high-level product strategy and execution
• Strong design portfolio with well-thought out interactions and clear visuals across web and mobile applications
• Strong passion for mobile and web product experiences
• You have a long track record of applying research insights to design
• Strong empathy and understanding of stakeholder needs
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Exceptional storytelling and presentation experience
• History of self-initiated projects
