N26 is Europe’s first Mobile Bank with a full European banking license. We have 2.5 million customers across 24 markets. Our team of over 1000 employees in 4 locations is concentrated on reinventing the banking experience for the digital generation. Valentin Stalf and Maximilian Tayenthal founded N26 in 2013 and launched the initial product in early 2015. Since January 2015, N26 has been available for Android, iOS, and desktop. In this critical role for us, the speed and scalability with which we enter a new market will be on you and your team. You will be responsible for the outline and overall delivery of our plan to ensure a smooth and commercially successful market entry.

Once here you will
Be overall responsible for entering a new market. Here you will be playing your part in driving our international expansion program building robust go-to-market plans for selected new countries
Oversee and execute expansion plans into a new market. You will be the lead for launching N26 into a new market, and will head up a cross-functional launch team to help you
Be constantly travelling the world and be based in the target market for a launch period, immersing yourself into the market, always learning and feeding your insights from previous market entries into every new venture
Navigate the set-up of a local company, the establishment of a local office and team, regulatory and infrastructure landscape, business plans, product-market fit, marketing plans and much more
Collaborate cross-functionally with our teams within N26 to deliver our strategic goals and champion the needs of the market Set the business up for growth and create the framework for how we operate as well as how we grow brand awareness, engagement, and build our customer base once we have launched
What you will bring along

An entrepreneurial mindset with strong business and product oriented thinking
A quick learner, outstanding analytical skills and a structured way of thinking, combined with exceptional attention to detail
You are comfortable travelling the world, working across time zones and locations and have a track record in managing large scale projects successfully
5-8 years of prior experience in consulting, investment banking, and/or start-ups; ideally you have already launched a market for a high growth digital company before
An undergraduate degree in business administration, economics, finance, engineering, mathematics, or a related field. A top tier MBA is preferred but not required
