Our team of over 700 employees in 3 locations is concentrated on reinventing the banking experience for the digital generation. Valentin Stalf and Maximilian Tayenthal founded N26 in 2013 and launched the initial product in early 2015. Since January 2015, N26 has been available for Android, iOS, and desktop. N26 is a hypergrowth company and the Technology team is looking for a passionate Solution Architect focused on launching new markets. Help us scale into markets yet to conquer!
Once here you will
- Assess the technical quality of potential business partners and work closely with launch teams to select those who meet our organisational, legal and technical standards
- Drive key technical decisions and ensure the market launch strategy fits the overall technical and system landscape
- Collaborate and coordinate with global Product & Technology teams to align technical design assumptions and dependencies
- Provide an overall technical vision and perspective from a new market’s perspective to internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure technology needs and non-functional requirements are addressed in key assumptions and plans
- A strong, broad, high-level understanding of architectural principles and 3rd party technical due diligence
- Proven track record in building scalable, globally distributed and cloud based systems using modern agile engineering practices
- Extraordinary communication skills both written and verbally that allow you to transport solutions, decisions and trade-offs effectively to a technical and non-technical audience
- Strong leadership, planning and and project management skills - best alongside experience in visualising information to ensure they're understood and stick
- Demonstrated experience in working with multiple teams as well as tech and business stakeholders
- Excitement to travel (40-50%)
- Specific experience in collaborating with launch teams is a plus, knowledge in topics such as compliance, legal or data privacy advantageous
