Description

The Brand Manager, within Immunology & Dermatology Franchise, is responsible for development,
implementation and accountability for marketing plans which optimize profitability, market share and revenue growth for Novartis pharmaceutical products. 


Major accountabilities:

  • Proactive development of marketing and scientific promotional mix to meet product objectives
     and customer needs 
  • He/she monitors business performance and external environment via appropriate tools to deliver corrective action as required to meet business objectives 
  • Liaison with external agencies to deliver initiatives for the managed product 
  • Accurate management of budgets for managed product 
  • He/she creates and delivers operational plans appropriate to life cycle of pharmaceutical product to optimize return for Novartis 
  • Full accountability for product and delivery of all programs related to sales 
  • He/she understands the disease and the market to develop customer insights through appropriate techniques/tools 
  • He/she supports and builds team to achieve business goals 
  • Management of external agencies to meet team’s goals 
  • He/she acts as brand champion to create enthusiasm and focus internally and with external customers and agencies 


Minimum requirements

  • University degree or equivalent in Science, Marketing or Business. A master in Pharmaceutical Marketing will be considered a plus 
  • At least 12-18 months of experience in pharmaceutical marketing within Company/Business with focus in ethical drugs (not OTC) 
  • Understanding of local pharmaceuticals regulations 
  • Fluent in Italian and English
