Internship Media Relations

Description

We are excited to offer the position of a German-speaking PR intern for the countries Germany, Austria and Switzerland. As a member of On‘s team in Zurich you will work in an environment where we make ideas happen fast, embrace the beauty of movement and will be given high levels of responsibility. You will work in a rather small PR team which belongs to a larger marketing team within On‘s headquarter.

We sit in Zurich; but the world is our oyster. We're on the frontline and we tell the story. We shape the debate and get into people's minds. Did we mention we write? And write. And write. The beauty of our team is that we get to play a pivotal game at On - and we get to play with all of our product portfolios (running, outdoors, fashion). So if you love networking and connecting as much as words and story-telling, this team is ready to welcome you onboard.

• Help press outreach efforts including writing press releases and creating a buzz about our stories and products
• Building relationships with top channels and industries’ experts and manage incoming media and blogger requests
• Stay ahead of upcoming stories and trends in Running, Outdoor and Active Life
• Help to organize PR events and seek opportunities for an extraordinary experience
• Track media coverage on a regular bases
• Keep the media database up to date

• First experience in the field of PR, communications or journalism
• Solid understanding of marketing, communication and social marketing thank to your studies in marketing or PR / journalism
• Strong oral and written communications skills with a fluency in German and English
• Team spirit, sporty mind-set and fast learner
