The Opportunity

We’re looking for a person familiar with basic sales process, or a hungry SDR ready to make the leap to join our sales team. This is a Paris based role, reporting to the Team Lead where you’ll be responsible for originating new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.

Onfido is in hyper-growth mode. That means everyone who joins us today needs to be ready for personal hyper-growth.

As a Business Development Manager at Onfido you will:

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Likely be the first personal interaction for the prospect and an ambassador of our brand and service
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
  • Research accounts, identify key stakeholders and generate interest through attending industry events
  • Perform effective online demos to prospects

Requirements

We're looking for a Business Development Manager who has a combination of:

  • Proven sales experience
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • An active interest in the importance and value of identity
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Proficient with web presentation tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively
