THE ROLE:

The Sales Development team at Onfido sits within our Growth organization alongside our Business Development, Account Management, and Marketing teams. You’ll join a small, fast-moving US-based team in a critical role and play an influential part in our rapid expansion

As our USA Sales Development Lead, you will be helping to drive our lead generation strategy and campaigns as we continue to grow our market presence in the ID Verification space within the United States.

This role is a unique opportunity to take ownership of Onfido’s sales development processes and train a team of SDRs to execute the strategy to build and maintain our pipeline of leads.

  • Lead Generation: Managing lead generation campaigns from planning to execution through to outcomes such that we can continuously improve
  • Sales Messaging: Working closely with marketing to ensure messaging and approach is personalized depending on the sector we go after and on brand
  • Team Coaching: Managing a small team of SDRs (US)
  • Conducting outbound calls with potential prospective clients
  • CRM management: Maintenance of our CRM system - data quality and building the pipeline of leads
  • Pipeline Development: Understands our strategic priorities and key geographies to help guide the SDRs on saying No to leads that don’t fit

Requirements

What we're hoping to see highlighted on your CV and application:

Core attributes:

  • Track record of consistent quota overachievement in a previous inside sales role
  • Ability to work within a fast paced and dynamic environment and work around the ambiguity
  • Experience with data-driven decision making - has run A/B tests or come up with a hypothesis and verify it with an experiment
  • Effective stakeholder management in ensuring the execution of campaigns, tests and large projects
  • B2B Sales and marketing nous - regularly read about trends in the market and brings that to bear in conversation with both teams

Desirable attributes:

  • Past experience working with talented and ambitious reportees is a plus
  • Experience in working with Salesforce
  • Experience in working with Engagio, Salesloft, Zen Prospect or other similar sales engagement technologies
