The Opportunity

The Sales Development Representative at Onfido isn't your typical "SDR" role. Sure, this is an entry-level sales position, but the team we’ve built is not only responsible for qualifying leads, setting meetings and building pipeline - it's much more than that…

Most importantly, you will be tasked to work closely with Account Executives and the Region Manager to generate new business via marketing and sales efforts.

As an integral part of our sales team, our global team will mentor you to help ensure your success as a contributing member of the organization. Although junior in the sales organization, this position is designed to prepare you with a number of career paths and opportunities at a global hyper-growth startup that is re-defining Identity Verification.

As a Sales Development Representative at Onfido you will:

  • Initiate sales opportunities with a balanced inbound/outbound approach by navigating accounts and hunting for qualified prospects and setting qualified meetings.
  • Work closely with a highly experienced Account Executives to define and execute Territory/Target account plans.
  • Create and execute outbound marketing campaigns whilst thinking creatively about how to generate leads.
  • Qualify all Onfido marketing-generated leads.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to move prospects through the sales funnel to closure.
  • Participating in corporate events and represent the company at industry-wide conferences.

Requirements

As a Sales Development Representative you will have a combination of:

  • Previous experience of outbound B2B sales and telesales
  • Experience of lead generation to French prospects
  • Experience working with Inside Sales tools including Salesforce and Salesloft preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English is essential (+ Spanish and/or Italian desirable)
  • Confident speaking to C-level Execs and the kind of person that our customers will love talking to!
  • Experience of working in a start-up, scale-up or high growth environment
  • Someone smart, tenacious, confident able to think quickly on their feet

Who are we looking for?

  • One - two years B2B sales experience prospecting into medium-to-large enterprises is preferred, but not required - we’ll train you!
  • Comfortable at initiating phone conversations with executives, navigating questions, and overcoming objections.
  • Proficiency using enterprise-grade sales CRM, such as Salesforce.com.
  • Knowledgeable using social networking tools to help canvas an account (LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, etc.).
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self starter, confident with owning responsibilities and experienced in seeing projects through from end to end
  • Team player with a collaborative attitude.
