Team Lead Controlling (m/w/d)

Description

• You will build up our Controlling department including the necessary processes, tools and standards and will continuously adapt those to the requirements of our growing company 
• You are responsible for leading and developing our small Controlling team 
• You are the main contact for the VP Finance & Legal as well as department heads regarding all management-related finance KPIs and reports
• You regularly provide relevant finance KPIs to the management team and budget holders and issue recommendations of action 
• You are responsible for the duly and timely preparation of monthly reports (e.g. investor reports) and forecasts as well as for the execution of ad-hoc analyses 
• You are in charge of the planning and steering of our cashflow and our P&L
• You conduct the quarterly budget compilation as well as regular deviation analyses and run discussions accordingly with the management team
• You collaborate closely with our Business Intelligence team in oder to automate the finance reporting and align it with our other reporting requirements
• You take on and steer new projects to drive our strategic corporate development

• Successfully completed business degree with a major in Finance or Controlling
• At least 5 years of working experience in Controlling, preferably in a dynamic and international environment, in the field of auditing or financial services 
• High affinity for numbers as well as clear and confident communication skills 
• Hands-on mentality, execution competence and high resiliency 
• Autonomous, structured and business oriented approach
• Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills and preferably deeper knowledge in VBA and GoogleScript
• High expertise regarding popular and innovative planning and controlling tools (e.g. Adaptive Insights, LucaNet, Corporate Planner)
• Good understanding for Business Intelligence processes/tools, especially SQL- and Python and preferably also Power BI, Tableau or Jedox
• Ideally previous management experience
• An understanding for B2B SaaS as well as Accounting and Corporate Finance topics would be an advantage
• Excellent (C2 level) English skills required as well as good (B2 level) German skills
