Job Description

We are looking for a People & Culture Business Partner for Zenith. This is a maternity cover contract for an initial period of 6 months, with a strong probability of extension. You would be reporting directly in to the Chief Talent Officer for Publicis Media ANZ and be a part of a vibrant and collaborative People & Culture team.  You will guide our management teams, motivate and grow our people through innovative people strategies, future-facing workforce planning and initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute the people strategy retention, reward and recognition, performance management, L&D, and other people related initiatives to support business goals and objectives
  • Driving HR strategies, practices and initiatives to maintain and improve our organisational culture and EVP to attract, engage and retain high calibre employees.
  • Partner with Recruitment team.
  • Responsible for Employee Relations and Industrial Relations matters and ensure compliance with company policy, federal, state and local employment laws.
  • Drive performance management and succession planning activities
  • Coach & guide management to facilitate effective and consistent people management, and build management capability.
  • Support the CTO in the development, evolution and implementation of the people strategy.
  • Build shared understanding and ownership of the organisation's purpose, values, strategies, plans and desired culture. Actively model these values and behaviours.
  • Be an ambassador for the organisation and for the People & Culture team.
  • Provide professional, business-focused, day to day HR services including, performance management, grievances, recruitment, annual salary reviews.
  • Some interstate travel required.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

  • We are looking for a pro-active, consultative, collaborative and fun person who has:
  • Human Resources management experience of 9+ years
  • Qualification in HR Management.
  • Proven track record in stakeholder management
  • A natural ability to engage people and possess outstanding leadership skills
  • Professionalism, attention to detail, strong follow up, time management, highly effective communication and problem resolution skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of employment law, including Employment Awards, the Fair Work Act and the National Employment Standards, with the ability to apply this knowledge in workplace situations.
  • Excellent understanding of HR best practice and the ability to apply this to employee relations cases.
  • Demonstrated supervisory / coaching experience.
  • Experience of performance management and working within defined policies and procedures.
  • Experience with organisational change projects including restructures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A person who is approachable, tactful, discrete and diplomatic, competent in dealing with difficult situations.
  • Able to work on their own initiative and under pressure
  • Excellent team player, able to display a flexible and creative approach to work situations.
