The Talent Acquisition team works in partnership with both Talent Management and Talent Operations to form the Talent Team which in turn partners with every department in the business.  Talent Acquisition’s responsibility is to expertly advise on all matters relating to the hiring needs of the business, never taking an eye off the top talent in the market and striving to ensure that our hiring process is world class for candidate experience, calibration and creating a diverse, unrivaled workforce. 

Every member of the Talent Acquisition team is a key player in our success, we lend our expertise as subject matter experts and recruiting aficionados to enable the business to make hiring decisions critical to the success of the company.  We are on a mission to disrupt, entice and deliver top digital talent across the Publicis Media hub.

Job Description

Our Talent Sourcers are the keys to finding great talent for Publicis Media. Working as a Talent Sourcer you are a valued member of both the Talent Team and the department(s) you are supporting.  As a talent acquisition specialist in the digital space you’re passionate, collaborative and flexible working skills will be called on to strengthen teams and enable them to continue to recruit the best talent in the industry.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Partners in the delivery of best in class talent to the business
  • Join briefing meetings with Talent Acquisition Partners to understand in detail the needs of hiring managers and department heads 
  • Begin to build / develop the skills of how to put together strategies for both longer term talent pool building and shorter term live hiring needs   
  • Use the appropriate channels and methods for sourcing / mapping candidates based on business needs
  • Begin to develop more complex sourcing techniques for those hard to fill roles 
  • Use relevant / modern techniques for candidate outreach to engage the best in class people for our business 
  • Assess candidates thoroughly against brief and selling the opportunity based on their needs, this will enable you to add valuable insight to each candidate submitted to the Talent Acquisition Partner and hiring manager   
  • Managing a portfolio of candidates by remaining in close contact with individuals actively and passively seeking a new position
  • Increasing candidate base through referrals
  • Conducting telephone and face to face interviews with candidates
  • Collaborate closely throughout the process with the Talent Acquisition Partner and hiring managers 
  • Build up comprehensive knowledge and intelligence of where the best talent in market could be found, through competitor, market analysis and relevant event attendance 
  • Use this to build out relevant talent pools / pipelines based on business needs
  • Begin to cultivate a data / insights driven approach to what we do, using this to help influence the right hiring decisions and make the right strategic plays for talent pooling   
  • Develop strong internal relationships, as well as longer terms candidate associations through strong written and verbal communication

Qualifications

  • Recruitment or sourcing experience, ideally within the professional services, media / digital agency, technology, advertising, or marketing environment 
  • Ability to quickly understand longer term hiring needs and immediate job briefs 
  • A strong solutions focus and comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables
  • Eager to show your sourcing ability when let loose on an open role
  • A problem solving mind set with a desire to grow these skills  
  • Track record of building strong working business relationships 
  • An enthusiastic team player contributing to a positive work environment
  • Drive and flexibility for working in an ever changing environment 
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, and able to contribute to an environment of stability in an ever changing landscape
  • Able to gain credibility with key stakeholders in a global business
  • Capable of making your voice and ideas heard in a busy, blended and bustling team
  • Solid interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills (written and verbal)
