RoleThe Technical Consultant EMEA (DMP & MarTech) will be responsible for consulting Publicis Media Agencies and Advertisers on their data-driven marketing approach including support for data strategy, developing our end-to-end enterprise DMP consultancy and support platform operations. The Technical Consultant solves strategic marketing challenges by applying data, technology & services to ensure clients are successful in building their businesses around our programmatic capabilities.

This role reports to the Director, Data & Tech Consulting within the central Precision EMEA Consulting team, a practice within Publicis Media. The role supports the Publicis Media agencies and other Publicis Media Practices, Strategic Partners, and clients to create integrated solutions to solve each client’s most pressing marketing challenges, working in concert with Agency, Product Management, Analytics, Operations, and other teams. 

The Technical Consultant is an energetic individual who possesses a combination of strong analytic, problem solving and client facing skills, working as an integral part of the PM Precision practice.  The role requires the ability to proactively identify opportunities to leverage data and technology to solve business problems, and importantly influence and deliver expertise at a senior level throughout the agency and direct to clients.

Key Responsibilities Data & Technology Consulting:•    Support the end-to-end enterprise audience management consultancy practice with a primary focus on post-sales implementation and a longer-term incubation into agencies. •    Pre-saleso    Support development of our data-driven marketing strategy across different client verticals tied into DMP/CDP usage but also building into wider areas such as CRM use caseso    Help audit and track data-driven maturity of our clients and agencyo    Actively participate as the technical expert in data-driven marketing strategy workshops for both clients and agencieso    Support collaboration with agencies in EMEA around enterprise DMP/CDP strategy•    Post-sales:o    Be the project lead on DMP (occasionally CDP) technical implementation across the marketing clouds (Salesforce, Oracle, Adobe)o    Help shape the post-sales implementation process, scoping, project management processo    After on-boarding, support the incubation of on-going management into local agencyo    Act as technical consultant to agencies teams for technical queries, campaign based strategies, testing frameworks and roadmap design 

Power of One Consulting:•    Support development of integrated services across DMP, CDP, AdTech, CRM, etc.•    Help develop partnerships with marketing cloud specialists, CRM specialists and Sapient Consulting across Publicis Groupe•    Work with leading vendors to ideate and innovate for Precision, to ensure that Publicis has access to market leading solutions.

Knowledge:•    Be an expert and have implementation experience in DMPs, CDP and Marketing Clouds•    Be experience and ideally certified in two/three marketing cloud venders (Salesforce/Oracle/Adobe)•    Have an understanding of other marketing and advertising technology, including DSPs, DCO, adservers, etc.•    Understand the standard workflows and metrics involved in digital marketing programs including how to traffic a media + data campaign, calculate cost (CPM, CPC, CPA), and measure performance (ROI, ROAS, CTR, CPA, AOV, RPV, Conversion Rate, etc.) •    Be capable of inventing and architecting complex technological solutions to solve specific marketing challenges./•    Participate in new business meetings / pitches as Subject Matter Expert representing all possible uses of the Platform in marketing programs. 

Experience Required•    +4 years of experience in a combination of enterprise marketing cloud/DMP services, programmatic media, & analytics•    3 years minimum entrenched DMP/CDP-based role, ideally with practical implementation, hands on experience, not just strategy and theory•    Experience with SQL and advanced knowledge of (CPM, CPC, CPA),(ROI, ROAS, CTR, CPA, AOV, RPV, Conversion Rate)•    Team management and leadership experience •    Experience in analytics or statistics based further education or employment role with a consultancy focus•    Possesses a charismatic, engaging personality and can successfully interact with senior/executive level client contacts•    Be influential at a senior level and be a self-motivated operator, comfortable with navigating a matrixed global organisation•    Experience with delivering complex technical content to large groups, in a coherent, accessible and inspiring way•    Has the ability to grow client relationships through new strategies and innovative ideas
