About the position
Showpad is seeking an entrepreneurial and data-driven Junior FP&A Analyst to join our Global FP&A team. The Junior FP&A analyst assists with processes around planning, analysis, reporting, and strategy and supports our growing organization.
The Junior FP&A Analyst will be part of a team responsible for delivering value-added business analysis as well as defining and reporting meaningful financial and operational metrics that lead to insightful business decision-making. Key Responsibilities as a Junior FP&A Analyst at Showpad
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of company financial data, and contribute to identifying ways to remediate inconsistencies and streamline processes.
- Identify and measure key metrics that drive business performance. Play a key role in compiling and reviewing key metrics dashboard with a focus on aligning the format/content with our evolving business model.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting to the BOD and Exec team.
- Support to the management of employee subscription rights plan during periodical pool creation, allocation, and exercise and being involved in the implementation of an Equity Management tool.
- Seek out and identify process improvement opportunities and best practices to make FP&A processes future-proof and ready to scale.
- Assist with and manage frequent ad hoc projects to support senior management and business decisions.
Skills and Qualifications we are looking for
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in finance or business
- Advanced Excel skills with strong systems knowledge (Netsuite, Salesforce, PBCS, BI tool is a plus)
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity
- Presentation and strong communication skills
- Eager to learn & ability to adapt and operate effectively in a fast-paced and growing environment
- Discretion and maturity given the confidential data being handled daily
