About the position


Showpad is looking for an IT Manager to manage and maintain our company’s global internal IT environment.


As an IT Manager you will be responsible for defining and maintaining the internal IT strategy and supporting IT processes. You will translate the IT Strategy into Showpad’s IT roadmap and coach the Showpad IT team consisted of a Support, Operations & Architecture unit to reach its objectives. As an IT Manager you will have a key role in ensuring internal software, systems and network enable the organization to run smoothly and uninterruptedly. At the same time you will manage the IT budget and expenses and monitor IT performance.


Together with your team you will help out your +400 Showpad colleagues experience a smooth IT environment. This role requires the coordination of activities across the different locations (US and Europe) and technologies. It will require excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills and a mastery of the technologies being implemented to properly facilitate and document the communications (even in collaboration with the executive team) and activities globally.



Key responsibilities as a IT Manager at Showpad


  • Define the global internal IT strategy, the IT roadmap and set clear objectives and key results to reach the team goals.
  • Develop and manage the internal IT team to become a top notch team. Help them to be focussed and performant in order to provide our internal end-users with a smooth IT experience.
  • Define the corporate support tooling landscape including the management of IT licenses and costs.
  • Keep the Showpad IT processes and infrastructure documentation up to date and auditable.
  • Aid with the company's compliance efforts and Implement Security controls to maintain secure processes and activities within your area of responsibility.
  • Work with the different business departments to identify points for improvement or solutions to support their business needs.
  • Manage the setup of new offices worldwide and coordinate built-outs.
  • Manage, maintain and monitor together with your team the internal IT systems, security controls and infrastructure components.
  • Provide, together with your team, first and second level IT support to colleagues and help them onboard with corporate devices.
  • Define KPI’s and report on IT systems, controls, infrastructure and team performance and effectiveness.

Skills and Qualifications we are looking for


  • A master degree in a Computer Science oriented study or an equivalent through experience.
  • 5+ years experience in managing a tech support team and be the SPOC and coach for the team members.
  • Your strong leadership skills empower your global team to sustain an environment where all members can thrive and grow while creating the IT vision, articulate this to all stakeholders, passionately owning it, and relentlessly drive it to completion.
  • 5+ years experience in supporting IT platforms
  • You talk both business and technology language, and can persuade on both levels
  • Be able to work accurately and have practical knowledge of IT frameworks such as ITIL, CobIT, etc...
  • The ability to demonstrate relevant experience with office automation and service desk organization, as well as SaaS infrastructure management solutions such as desktop management, mobile device management, anti-malware platforms, physical access management solutions and directory services management.
  • Good understanding and practical knowledge of managing network and telecommunications infrastructure such as routers, switches, firewalls and IP telephony systems.
  • Good understanding of Identity and Access management including on and offboarding processes.
  • Have a vision for IT in a Software as a Service company.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
