About the position
The Solution Architect role in our Customer Innovation Lab will be instrumental in driving technical solutions based on the Showpad Sales Enablement platform. You will engage with our largest customers to design and implement innovative solutions supporting their commercial transformation. You will be defining what an Enterprise Sales Enablement solution means.
Collaborate with both internal and external/industry experts to anticipate customer needs in order to facilitate the definition and development of future solutions.
You deeply understand our customer’s business strategies and requirements to develop necessary designs and plans
You supervise 'first time delivery programs' for customers, including preliminary studies, the implementation roadmap, development of the prototype, after which you drive the implementation.
You advocate new concepts, technologies and solutions, using the appropriate communication channels (webinars, blog posts,...)
Provide advice and make decisions about which technologies would be suitable to use for various projects
Collaborate with project managers and other staff members to develop budgets and timelines for solutions
Keep skills updated and remain proactively aware of happenings and current events in the industry
Mentor, educate, and train colleagues as requested
Actively work with our partner network to design and support solutions based on the Showpad platform
You will lead technological studies, feasibility studies, white papers, and conceptual documents concerning the current and future focus technologies for Showpad.
Skills/Experience we are looking for
Master computer science degree (or equivalent through experience) in information technology, computer science, software engineering or a related field
5+ years of work experience in a relevant role
Demonstrable experience in designing and positioning custom, complex innovative enterprise solutions across various architecture domains
Excellent interpersonal communication skills to explain complex technical topics in an easily digestible manner
Deep knowledge of solution architecture discipline, processes, concepts and best practices.
Advanced understanding of IT industry trends, enterprise standards and methodology
Experience of structuring and facilitating the process of innovation within an IT function
Proven track-record of handling multiple projects simultaneously
Skills that are considered a plus
Proven development skills in back-end technologies
Expertise with at least one of the following domains: CMS / Ecommerce / CRM / DMP / Marketing Automation
