We’re looking for a Regional Operations Manager to join the Yorkshire City Operations team, led by Rakim Mitchell.
You will focus on delivering a world class service to our clients at all times and will be responsible for key financial and operational KPIs such as gross margin and order success rate. You will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of the Yorkshire operation and play a vital role in balancing the interests of our clients, high growth and profitability. Responsibilities
- Regional Accountability: Full ownership and accountability for Yorkshire operational performance across Leeds, Wakefield, Sheffield, Rotherham, Chesterfield and Huddersfield
- Optimisation projects: Proactively finding areas for operational optimisation and improvement
- Operational fixes: Undertaking the root cause analysis of poor performance and implementing of appropriate operational fixes
- Matching supply and demand across each city - working with courier operations and the onboarding team to ensure that we have the right number of riders in the right place at the right time
- Financial Excellence: Ownership of regional financial performance and executing initiatives that focus on improving gross margin per ride
- Growth & Strategy: Leading and driving commercial growth opportunities and expansion across the region
- Client Rollout: Work with commercial & account management to understand
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business management, supply chain, science / engineering or other relevant field
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in consultancy, retail, FMCG or logistics based roles
- You have a strong analytical mindset and are able to apply numbers to actions
- You are a strong communicator and have experience working with different stakeholders across departments.
- You are inquisitive and forward-thinking - curious, thoughtful and confident at questioning the status-quo
