Description

Stuart is a leading last-mile delivery platform that connects small and big businesses to a fleet of geolocalised couriers. We empower thousands of companies across Europe by providing same- day delivery, next-day delivery and return solutions. We work across verticals with retailers, grocery stores, restaurants and eCommerce merchants to enable smarter transportation models.

Our office is located in a beautiful co-working space.

We are looking for a Program Manager MBA intern to join the Food Vertical program team reporting to Tommy Soilemezis from September 2020.

You will focus on the food vertical and will be responsible for coordinating across functions to define a strategy, priorities and the operational model to empower further growth and greater profitability within this strategically vital area.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with cross-country and cross-functional teams (Commercial, Courier and Business Operations, Product and Tech spread across our offices in London, Paris and Barcelona) to ensure there is alignment around the strategic vision and what is required to realise it.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of client needs and trends; identify gaps and opportunities, and work across Stuart to create and prioritise a body of high-impact projects to satisfy these requirements.
  • Review how we can tweak our current operating model to expand our commercial proposition. How can we attract more clients? How can we drive lower prices?
  • Report on the completion, quality and impact of projects / initiatives within the program. You will evaluate the success of these against their aims, goals and objectives, and share learnings across the business
  • Think ahead and handle priorities and risks, anticipating issues and propose solutions

Requirements

  • Prior experience in Consulting or in Program Management. Experience in the food /grocery sector is a plus but not an absolute requirement.
  • You’re a creative thinker - problem solving comes naturally and you view constraints as challenges to be overcome rather than limitations on success
  • You know how to get meaningful information out of large sets of data and can communicate your findings concisely
  • You are detail oriented and never take shortcuts at the expense of depth of knowledge - while never losing sight of the big issues
  • You are comfortable with hypothesis-driven analysis – but you are open-minded and willing to accept that your initial hypothesis was wrong if your findings do not support it
  • You are curious - you want to know what clients and couriers need and how those needs fit with Stuart’s mission of logistics for a sustainable world
  • Fluent English speaker.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay
  • Lunch paid for every day in the office (in value up to £10) at work and all the free drinks/snacks you can handle
  • Monthly gym allowance (in value up to £40) to use in any gym or for any sport class - a healthy mind in a healthy body!
  • Annual company offsite - Ibiza last year!
  • Private health care provided by AXA (including dental and optical)
  • Work in an international, dynamic and passionate environment with a great company culture
  • Lunchtime sports: 5 a side football Fridays, squash Thursdays

“Logistics for a sustainable world.” That is the mission at the heart of Stuart Delivery. While customer expectations around the delivery experience are skyrocketing, cities are limiting traditional logistics methods to improve congestion, pollution and liveability. The convergence of these two trends means that a disruptive approach to last mile delivery is not a nice-to-have but rather an inevitability.

We launched in 2015 with a big vision and a handful of clients. Five years later, couriers on our

platform complete tens of millions of deliveries annually for the biggest brands across retail, ecommerce, grocery and food.

Stuart is an equal opportunity employer, and we value diversity at our company. We don't discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status or disability status.
