Junior Data Scientist

For our Milan or Verona office we are looking for a Junior Data Scientist with strong technical skills and good business acumen.

What you will do

• Use machine learning, data mining and statistical techniques to create new, scalable solutions for business problems like logistic optimization or sales forecasting

• Design, develop and evaluate highly innovative models for predictive learning

• Analyze and extract relevant information from business data to help automate and optimize key processes

• Impact teams, processes and the day-to-day functioning of our tech products, both on the customer and on the shopper side

Requirements

• Excellent business judgment

• Quantitative University Degree (Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics)

• Strong problem solving ability

• Strong communication and data presentation skills

• Experience in using  SQL, Relational Databases

• Experience in using Python or R 

• Experience in using machine learning libraries

Desired Skills

• Experience with Business Intelligence Tools like Tableau, QlikView, Microsoft Sharepoint
