Engineering team plays a critical role in shaping the way we create the best technical solutions and, to make sure we’re doing that in the best way possible, we’re now looking for a talented Data Engineer to work in our Infra team.

You’ll report to the Tech Lead.

• Contribute to building and fostering a data-centric culture across the whole company
• Create and maintain optimal data architecture (covering operational data stores, data lake, data warehouse and data pipelines)
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
• Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of relational/non-relational data sources
• Contribute to building analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
• Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
• Create data tools for product analytics team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader
• Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems

Requirements

Here’s what we’d love from our new Data Engineer:

• Advanced working knowledge and experience working with relational / non-relational data stores
• Experience designing, building and optimizing data pipelines and workflows
• Hands-on scripting experience Python would be an advantage
• Hands-on experience with AWS data-centric services (RDS, Redshift, Glue) would be an advantage
• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
• A track record of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment

Monthly salary from 3000 € to 5000€ (gross) depending on the level of experience.
