AML Investigator

Description

Have you always wanted to become a police investigator, but you did not pass the physical tests? Are you an investigator looking for fast paced international challenges? If yes, then we have a position for you! Transferwise’s fast-growing Anti-Money Laundering transaction monitoring team is looking for skilful and passionate AML Investigators to join the team based in Budapest, Hungary.

If you are passionate about finding out things - this job is for you! You should be precise and have an eye for detail. We have a lot of excitement in our work, but you should also be able to tolerate some routine stuff that needs to be done. We are looking for someone who is a good team player and isn’t afraid to take responsibility.  

Your mission:

• Monitoring our global customer base and investigating suspicious activity reports;
• Reporting suspicious activity in accordance with internal procedures;
• Participating in developing new monitoring rules to catch the bad guys.

A bit about you:

• You’ll have a curious mind and internal desire to find out stuff;
• You’ll have ability to multi-task and take responsibility in challenging situations;
• You’ll have strong attention to detail;
• You’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
• You’ll have experience in AML or law enforcement as an investigator.
