AML Law Enforcement Liaison Officer

TransferWise’s fast-growing and international anti-money laundering team is looking for a skilful and passionate Law Enforcement Liaison Officer to join the team based in Tallinn. We are looking for an independent person, who is able to work under limited supervision, is precise and has an eye for detail.

Your mission: 

• Handling law enforcement information requests in accordance with internal policies;
• Gathering data for responding to law enforcement requests;
• Investigating requests and filing suspicious activity reports where required;
• Maintaining working relationships with law enforcement agencies;
• Analysing trends and making recommendations to process enhancements.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree and 1 - 3 years of experience in anti-money laundering, fraud or law enforcement, preferably in investigating suspicious activity;
• Experience with investigative techniques;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Ability to make decisions and independent judgment calls autonomously;
• Good multi-tasking skills and ability to take responsibility in challenging situations;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Additional knowledge of German, Spanish or French is an important bonus.
