We’ve made a good start with over 3 million customers sending £2 billion every month with TransferWise. And even better they’re saving themselves £60 million a month in the process! And it’s not just money transfer. Our customers trust us to store over £1 billion in their TransferWise accounts, which they can spend anywhere the world with the newly launched TransferWise debit Mastercard.


Big numbers, but that’s only 1% of all the money moving around the world. We started TransferWise to rid the world of unfair fees and poor service. It’s a huge task and that’s where you come in.


TransferWise is looking for a UX Copywriter in London


You’ll be embedded in a team of exceptionally talented marketers who consistently break new ground in performance marketing. You’ll be completely empowered to do the right thing, working from start to finish with engineers, analysts, and everyone else needed to get it done.


You will


  • Write customer-facing copy for growth products and landing pages.
  • Distill complex financial concepts into copy that’s fantastically straightforward.
  • Help educate customers about money transfer, and most importantly — drive them to take action.
  • Work together with your team to define both the long-term strategy and short-term tactics for your area of the product.
  • Work alongside copywriters in London, New York, and Singapore to develop the TransferWise tone of voice, and build consistency across everything we write.
  • Travel to our offices around the world.

You might be a fit for this role if


  • You have solid experience (3+ years) writing copy for web and mobile experiences. Bonus points if you’ve worked in consumer tech or regulated industries.
  • You can leverage data and research to evaluate the impact of your work.
  • You can give and receive feedback constructively.
  • You can act independently, but also know when to align with other copywriters and when to ask for help.
  • Your English is excellent — fluency in another language is a plus.
  • You have a strong portfolio of projects showing your digital and UX writing skills.
