Growth Analyst - Performance Marketing

Currently, over four million people use TransferWise. Marketing helps us to achieve our mission faster, by reaching people who are sending money around the world at scale and educating them about how we can help them.

To empower TransferWise and move us closer to achieving that mission, we are looking for a talented Growth Analyst to join our growing team in our London office.

This role is about helping the team think about ways of making our existing marketing investment more efficient at reaching a broader range of audiences and supporting the team to find new ways of reaching new users. To ensure teams are unblocked and able to move at speed we operate in autonomous teams within marketing - but one of the key alignment drivers in how we think about scaling marketing will come from the analyst team.What you’ll really be doing

• Fuel our growth via marketing. Find smart solutions to a variety of complex problems:
• Attribution - which channels contributed to a customers decision to use TransferWise?
• Sustainable marketing - How do we know how much to invest into different channels and campaigns?
• Creative evaluation - What role do different creatives play in the user journey from hearing about TransferWise for the first time to becoming a customer?
• Automation - How can we help teams overcome technical challenges to drive growth at scale?
• Help unlock growth by working closely with marketing teams (Paid Social, Partnerships & Affiliates, Paid Search) to enable them to make data-driven decisions. This includes taking ownership of your data domain
• Choose your own path to success - you’ll have the freedom to define the vision and the responsibility for making it happen. To enable you to do your best work, we are flexible about how and where you work as we understand everyone needs a little something different so we will do our best to make it happen

Experience you’ll need

• Experience with solving complex problems by using your data analysis expertise
• Excellent communication skills - you can summarise the complex, and present data visually in a way that makes people say “got it!”
• Ideally you have worked in performance marketing before and are familiar with common concepts of evaluating campaign success
• Familiarity with attribution & customer lifetime value models is a plus
• Empathetic to your stakeholders - you identify pain points and see your analysis & the tools you build all the way through to impact - this requires a hands-on mentality instead of process focus
• You’re a self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously
• Analysts at TransferWise pick the best tools for the job - besides advanced SQL, you have worked with Python and you are fast at learning the tools needed for a given task
